Take the Winter Park Historic Boat Tour!

Looking for something fun to do? Take a ride over to Winter Park and go on their historic boat tour. After that, grab lunch before heading back home!

The Winter Park Historic Boat Tour has been operating for over 80 years. That's a long time to show people around the water in that area. You board the boat and the captain will give you a lot of information about the area and what you are seeing. You will learn about some of the history of the area, see historic homes from the water, and learn about homes that were or are owned by famous people.

This is a fun boat ride that takes about one hour. Being that it's a pontoon, you have a comfortable ride that even winds its way through the beautiful tree canopied canals. If you have a group of 10 or more you can call at 9 am that day and they will reserve a boat for you. If you are coming from Volusia County and have less than 10 people, still call ahead and have them reserve you a spot. They will take your name and hold the tickets until 15 minutes before the boat is supposed to leave the dock. Be sure to take a hat, because the boat is not covered and it can be sunny. You may also want to take sunscreen.

The scenic boat tour leaves every hour, starting at 10 am. To get more information, visit their site here.

Have fun!
